Yes younravi, you are so right. Honestly, I find it weird that I only liked Jay-Z when he came out with Hard Knock Life, but after that I never really liked him anymore. Rhianna is one of my favorites, but strangely, only some songs like her first songs before she joined with Jay-Z and a couple now like S&M and Only Girl in the world. All of the sudden when I find this out only a couple of days ago, it completely saddened me seeing that the people you thought were right and straightforward, folling God’s light, is completely opposite. I honestly am heartbroken, and I am not saying that I am perfect and chastizing anyone, because I really am not. I jam out to Drake alot and I listen to some Rap when I workout, but most of all, I love God and Jesus as his son and the only thing I can do is pray pray pray for the souls of these artists and beg God for them to see his light. Because honestly, it really hurts me seeing that the people you really want to meet one day are ones who are against God and against the light. As I said before, I am far from perfect and I struggle everyday to become Godlike, but it is our duty to be strong and not hate ones who oppose the light(God), but Pray and help them step into the light and be saved. Sometimes I ask myself if it is true or not, which is why I ask for God’s wisdom to shine on me and see right from wrong and to Pray for these artists become right and as I said before, to be saved with God’s grace and I pray that others who see that they need savior wil do the same. Thank you all for sharing. I currently teach bible study to young adults and never knew any of this. One of my children was telling me about Rihanna, JayZ and Beyonce worshipping the devil. She was explaining to me the videos and what they mean. I teach my class the bible says we will become wiser and weaker. That we will also perish due to lack of knowledge. So I decided to research on my own. Since then I have learned about baphomet, eye of horus, free masons. I myself have an 18 and 13 year old child. I am a realist so I allow them to listen to these people. I have never been a Jay Z fan, but I do like Beyonce. Funny thing I thought something was not right when she said she was sasha fierce, then once again I wrote it off as a way to get people to buy her albums. Never gave it much thought, just thought it was another publicity stunt. I am not saying all the information provided is 100% accurate, nothing is. But I do thank you for the eye opener. I bet there are many parents out there who do not know these things, and figure as long as they not doing all that cursing, and you have the clean version, go ahead and listen to your music. Now I have to take it a step further. I would like to take to this time to say thank you to everyone who responded to this post. I truly enjoyed reading your responses. I even enjoyed reading the writers response who seemed to totally disagree with the information provided here. That’s what makes it great everyone should have their own opinion. But I would like to say to the person who said we are fanatics. Anyone can be a fanatic about anything. I am a christian and I apologize for anyone that made you feel we are trying to force God on you or even the world. The bible teaches us that God is love. I believe my faith is for me and myself only. If anyone wants to know more about him, I am willing to share. As a christian I believe knowledge is power. Funny most of my true friends are athiest, catholic, and jehovah witness but I love them with all my heart. I do not deny my faith, and I do not deny them theirs. I listen to them and their beliefs, and I normally don’t have to tell them mine because everyone thinks they know what christians think. So I tend to not offer my ideas until they are asked. Im there when they need me, and I try to stick to my beliefs without being mean and down grading theirs. I think this is what makes you a good christian. Recognizing we dont have any power to save only God can do that. But loving people in spite of, and wishing them good will, and as scripture says loving thy neighbor as thyself. I truly believe it is the love I share that makes people want to know about Christ. Not me trying to beat them over the head and listen to me. So I apologize for the christians who have made you feel we want to push God on you or anyone else in the world. God is a choice and a personal decision. Though I would love for everyone to choose God, unfortunately I know many will not. And in my opinion that is their right. May God bless and keep you all. Thank you Teddy for your response! We are to be followers of Jesus Christ. He did not hate people, he did, however, give people the truth even when they did not want to hear it. Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven. If a person does not accept that Jesus (1)died on the cross for their sins (and mine),(2) was buried (3) resurrected on the 3rd day (early Sunday morning and (4) will return (rapture) to get everyone who has accepted his death, burial, and resurrection they will go to HELL. That is not my opinion that is the word of the Almight God. Sometimes we will make enemies because of the side we choose. I do agree that we should not be condescending of other religions. We should love them the way Jesus loves us and pray that they will come to the saving knowledge of what Jesus did for us on the cross. People have to realize Satan is not going to publicly say to people “I have to come to steal, kill, and destroy you” He has to be as subtle as he can so that we don’t see he is truly behind the attacks on our minds, bodies, and SOULS. If Satan came to a person in his true form NO ONE would be fooled because you would see him for who he is….A DECEIVER, LIAR, SNAKE,MURDERER. Doesn’t that imply that people who worship God can’t be successful? What happened to not judging people you don’t know? This is what keeps pushing me away from religion in general. u guys need to go and research ur religious faiths, in christianity the romans forced it down peoples throats and it was used solely as a political tool, same with hinduism , islam etc etc etc. We have created gods to explain and take advantage of our own existance.
