Exposing Evolution As A Mess and Atheism As Hot-Air!

If There is Much Evidence Why Does Richard Dawkins Say This?

with 9 comments

We have some resident geniuses who have so much evidence they cannot even say what it is.

Look if your elders and betters do not know what happened ?  How can you even claim you have enough evidence to prove, let alone say, what happened?

My atheist friends you ae ideologues, you are driven by spirits the same spirits which cause Marxists to sell “Socialist Worker” newspaper on every high street in this land.  The same spirit which leads a Jehovah’s Witness to wake up five o’clock on a Saturday morning and annoy people in their homes when they can be enjoying their weekends.  The same spirit that leads Mormons to think they will one day become gods and wear magic underpants.  The same spirit which leads British Israelis to claim that they are the ten lost tribes of Israel and sing about building a New Jerusalem on England’s green and pleasant land while working themselves into a fever.

  1. True scientists will admit when they doubt, feel wrong, or are sketchy. Too bad theists don’t understand this at all.

  2. But this is the man who wants to eliminate any other point of view.

God words might just be true, O’reilly summed it up he should go back home, make up his mind and then tell us why we are wrong.

  3. “But this is the man who wants to eliminate any other point of view.”

No. Dawkins wants to see an end to the unquestioning respect religious faith enjoys simply because it is a religious faith: as he explains in his “The God Delusion”, granting such unbridled treatment to even decent, moderate religions paves the way spectacularily for bloodthirsty, fundamental religions.

“God words might just be true, O’reilly summed it up he should go back home, make up his mind and then tell us why we are wrong.”
He is not saying that religious convictions are necessarily wrong by virtue of the fact that they are religious convictions. As I said above, he is arguing against the free reign that religions enjoy.

That you think Dawkin’s admission is at all relevant is laughable at best, and depressing for the state of humanity at worst.
Still, at least I’m not North American (no offence, Canada).

  4. “But this is a hate group, rather than a science, they want to kill, steal and destroy.”
I assume you plan on backing this up with something? This is completely unfounded and absolutely wrong.

  5. No one has argued that you should not question religion, that is why you have a choice.

What Dawkins does is try to suggest that Science has ruled out God, which is convincing to those who understand neither science or christianity.

  6. Did you even read Dawkins book on the subject?

  7. This video is called ” Richard Dawkins: An atheist’s call to arms”

    http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/view/id/113

other videos call “religion root of all evil” or compare Religion to “spreading like virus”.

As a life long non-believer I have read Nietzsche, Heidegger, Sagan, Perls, and Kierkegaard, and James Berk.
When i read the the “god Dellusion” i thought it was a bit of a light weight intro to nihilsm. forgettable.
And then Dawkins became the leading voice in atheism?!?

I find Dawkins questionable, ethically. But heres the thing.
I think his popularity has more to do with rebellion. Rebellion from modern mix of Religous fundamentalism with politics.

The strict rationalist who are so mesmerized by him will soon move on.

So i no longer worry too much about dawkins, he is just a fad. Kind of like Dr. Timothy Leary in the sixties.

After all, you cant stay at nihilism for ever.

In another comment section of this blog (linked below) you said:

“Secondly, I am interested in hearing ideas rather thaattacking people.”

Aren’t these two positions a bit in opposition? Yes they are.

You are a liar and a hypocrite. I normally avoid such perjoratives, but here there is ample proof and they are amply deserved.
