Piltdown Man Hoax

The Piltdown man hoax  shows us how desperate some scientist have been to prove their theory correct. If they really had the evidence would they cook up stories like this?

Truth be told Evolution is a philosophy rather than a science but they pretend that it is based on objective observation.

  1. Really? This is the best conspiracy you could come up with? Something that happened almost a hundred years ago.

  2. Well if it happened a hundred years ago, people do not know about it and they should know.

  3. This hoax was unraveled by evolutionists, we’ll have you know.

    THIS is your best shot?

  4. If people admit that they are evolutionists before examining the evidence then they have a bias already.

  5. Dawkinswatchwatcher that is an interesting concept.

  6. Are we to somehow assume creationists have no bias? The bias that evolution has is the scientific assumption that the phenomena in the physical world can be explained by natural processes – which is a bias shared in all fields of science.

  7. Back to the point of the piltdown man, though… the fact is, it was promoted as genuine, found by EVOLUTIONISTS to be fake, and promptly scrapped, as with all frauds in science. In this case, you happen to be 55 years behind in reporting the fraud.

  8. It is interesting to remember that it was science, not lay people with a foolish ax to grind, that revealed the hoax for what it was.

It is amusing to note how often creationists accept science, like when they hypocritically use it for their benefit, and then ignore it when it tells them something that does not completely jibe with their personal little fairy tale. You just managed to do it in a smaller space then most. Kudos.

  9. Also interesting how the UN-creative advocates of the bible fairy tales seem to put ALL their faith and trust in the science of bombs, missiles, warfare and their god – George W. Bush.
