Exposing Evolution As A Mess and Atheism As Hot-Air!

Is This A Rational Decision?

with 9 comments

Atheists claim they have  a monopoly on rational decision making. A Muslim lady sits down and reads the Bible and the Koran and decides to follow Christ.

  1. I encourage you to sit down and read Homer’s epics more closely. While everyone assumes that they’re false, you are endangering yourself by doing so; read them, or face the heads of Cerberus.

  2. As happy as I am for this woman, I don’t really see what it has to do with being a rational decision. Her reason for believing has not really departed from the good ‘ol “I believe because I want to believe in God, therefore God exists” stuffs.

  3. The bible said God is love (1 John 4:7). The bible says that God exists (Romans 1:20). She experienced both of those. What is not rational about that?

Your mum said ice cream taste good. You tasted it and found it was good. You now believe its real.

  5. spendidiles,

What if God speaks? Is he still an invention then?

  6. If god actually spoke in a non-subjective manner, then it would be worthwhile to investigate his or her existence further. As this has never happened, your question is moot.

  8. “What if God speaks? Is he still an invention then?”

Oh, yes! And starting to become a dangerous one. If people think god speaks to them, they are prepared to do all sorts of things, even going around and killing people.

In the real word believing that a gods speaks to you is called a mental disorder.

But never fear. The majority of people who claim that god speaks to them (Pat Robertson and such) are just plain liars. For a reason: POWER over gullible people and MONEY!

  9. This verse probably isn’t going to make sense to unbelievers, but it might…

John 16:12 says “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come”

In Summary, believers receive the Holy Spirit. Whatever the Holy Spirit hears from God is spoken to the believer. The bible also says that we have to be careful, because evil spirits speak to us too. Which is why we need to confirm everything we hear with the Word of God. Otherwise religions like Mormonism and Jehovah’s witness’s prop up who don’t understand the verse that says “there will be no more revelations!” o.O lol.
