Exposing Evolution As A Mess and Atheism As Hot-Air!

Was Charles Darwin A Racist?

with 4 comments

Sometimes I do not want to appear as if I am punching below the belt but I have a link which is worth reading.

Let us discuss it because it has been a while since we have had a sizzling debate.  Please look at the blog posts on Eugenics and the Nazis.   Evolution and especially social evolution is a very dangerous idea because it leads to races competing for supremacy.

Tell me what you think.  I normally do not link to Islamic sites but I like what this dude has done over the years.

  1. Charles Darwin was most certainly a racist. When he was alive most people were.

However, unless you believe that the different human races are all different species, I don’t see how you’ve come to the conclusion that evolution ‘leads to races competing for supremacy’. What you’re talking about is social darwinism, something that has nothing at all to do with evolution.

  3. The subtitle of Darwin’s ‘Origin of Species’ is “On the origin of species by means of natural selection or the preservation of favored races in the struggle for life.”*

  4. I just read some articles on Darwin and thought I would share what Darwin actually said- in his own words- on the subject of racism. His words speak in opposition to what many have stated about him on various web sites. Darwin, as we know, is long gone and so he can’t stand up for himself when it comes to accusations. But I feel it necessary to defend him. I hope you will find the following link enlightening..

    Best Regards,

ps- I do believe racism is wrong with all my heart.
