Church makes ‘ludicrous’ apology to Charles Darwin – 126 years after his death

The Church of England will tomorrow officially apologise to Charles Darwin for misunderstanding his theory of evolution.

In a bizarre step, the Church will address its contrition directly to the Victorian scientist himself, even though he died 126 years ago.

But the move was greeted with derision last night, with Darwin’s great-great-grandson dismissing it as ‘pointless’ and other critics branding it ‘ludicrous’.

CHARLES DARWIN
Rowan Williams

What do I think?  Firstly Charles Darwin was a priest in Church of England, no this just shows that there has always been apostacy in the Church of England.

So much nonsesnse has come out of the synods of the church of England that it is ridiculous.  We need to know when was the last time they made a ruling which was Christian.

Rowan Williams has never claimed to be a Christian let alone a born again one. He is a theologian but you can be one of those without being a Christian.

There are genuine Christians who still attend the Church  of England but at what point will they see that they are proping up an ungodly structure?

You see what the big problem now is?  The Church Of England has not put it up for discussion whether we really understand Evolution.  But that is what is totally wrong with their system, doctrines can only be discussed by the clergy and as a layman you must obey the clergy whether they are right or wrong.

Kent Hovind when he used to borrow Evolutionist used to say that most of them do not understand their own theory.  The problem is not with us understanding Evolution but with the Darwinites being able to say what their theory is.

The Church of England is a hot mess.

  1. “Firstly Charles Darwin was a priest in Church of England, no this just shows that there has always been apostacy in the Church of England.”

If you mean ‘Apostasy’ then you are correct. Many people come to realize that when they start to think for themselves they see how the Bible is not to be taken literally (to say the least).

“So much nonsesnse has come out of the synods of the church of England that it is ridiculous. We need to know when was the last time they made a ruling which was Christian.”

Ask someone in the C.O.E. Hopefully they won’t say something like “well we want to uphold Biblical teaching, so being Christians we have elected to uphold Genesis 17:14”.

“Rowan Williams has never claimed to be a Christian let alone a born again one. He is a theologian but you can be one of those without being a Christian.”

Yes and you can be a Christian with being a theologian.

“There are genuine Christians who still attend the Church of England but at what point will they see that they are proping up an ungodly structure?”

    Hopefully soon – proping?

“You see what the big problem now is?”

I see many problems while reading this blog.

“The Church Of England has not put it up for discussion whether we really understand Evolution.”

If you don’t understand evolution the Church is not really the place/people to discuss it with, try going to school – try reading. And I’m not talking about reading Y.E.C. pseudo-science propaganda.

“But that is what is totally wrong with their system, doctrines can only be discussed by the clergy and as a layman you must obey the clergy whether they are right or wrong.”

No, as a layman you do not have to obey. This is why we have brains.

“Kent Hovind when he used to borrow Evolutionist used to say that most of them do not understand their own theory.”

Never use Kent Hovind as an example for anything, unless you need an example of an idiot.

“The problem is not with us understanding Evolution but with the Darwinites being able to say what their theory is.”

‘Darwinites’ (?) There are all sorts of resources on the theory, again, try reading. Try reading some of the past replies on your own blog even.

Ha! No, once again, you simply demonstrate your ignorance. And what an astounding level of the title of ignoramus you have attained.
