This video is somewhat long but I will post it up so that you can meditate on it.

  1. Did God invent ‘science’? What biblical proof is there that God intended man to discover the secrets of the universe?

Perhaps we have no need of science if the only point to consider is our souls. Perhaps God intended that man should not have discovered penicillin or vaccines. Perhaps God intended man to live a burdened life fraught with disease, dysentery, and the death of children. Perhaps God intended man not to eat the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge at all; maybe man should be someone that knows nothing except how to read and pray and provide for his daily sustenance.

If God approves of science, would he accept all science or only some types of science? Which science would He exclude? Forensic science? Genetics? Geology? Meteorology? Surgery? Mathematical predictability as in forecasting future events?

And how do we know this with certainty?

Did He have a purpose in waiting 1500 years after his Son’s death to allow printing with movable type so millions of people around the world would be deaf to His Word?

There are many questions to ask God when one sees Him. One of those questions may be ‘why doesn’t Man believe scientific evidence when presented with it?’. There are many examples that Man initially rejects science: like the earth revolves around the sun (Galileo), like a solar system (Copernicus), like genetics, like earthquakes theory, like eclipses and tides and even perhaps Carbon-14 dating, evolution, and DNA.

And which group has been adamantly opposed to the advances of science since Jesus was born and prefers instead to believe that science is in opposition to God?

All I can say is “THANK GOD” for science whether religious men believe in science or not.

  2. Reasonable citizen I thank you.

I am interest in science as much as you are but I question why Evolution has been pushed, of course God is not against science.

He is agaist Science only if it harms others.
