Charles Darwin Theory of Natural Selection Applied Is Eugenics

Eugenics is Charles Darwin’s Natural Selection Applied

I am keeping the pressure on again on Charles Darwin and the links to Eugenics movement , as we continue to Look at Charles Darwin’s Deadly Legacy.

– It is amazing that people are disputing the obvious, sure they say that I did not understand the Descent of Man and there was nothing about race in the book.

– Is there a conspiracy to separate Charles Darwin’s Theory of Natural Selection from Hitler and the holocaust, why are there no programs on television talking about this connection.

  1. Is there a conspiracy to separate Charles Darwin’s Theory of Natural Selection from Hitler and the holocaust, why are there no programs on television talking about this connection.

because it doesn’t exist. blaming darwin for what hitler did is like blaming the inventor of the gun for what every subsequent murderer has done with his invention.

    • Personal Failure,
It’s worse than that. At least the gun was an engineered object built for that purpose and not a completely separate theory. No, it’s more like blaming Newton for inventing F=ma which (I suppose) could be used to explain the physics of the first handgun, and transferring the blame of every subsequent murderer to Newton.

  2. Perhaps, DW, if you read Dan’s comment here:
You will see that in fact Hitler’s motivation was more religious than evolutionary, and that there is no conspiracy to “separate” Natural Selection from Hitler, as there IS NO CONNECTION. There is instead a conspiracy to LINK the two, on rhetorical ideological grounds – ie if they yell it loud enough and long enough, people will start to associate the two.

  3. Thanks Bipedal.

Yes, DW, the point is that Hitler was a Christian first and foremost. The Crusades, the Inquisition, the raping of the Americas and murder of millions of native Americans in the 1500s, the Holocaust, and many many more atrocities were done in the name of Jesus Christ.

Totaled over history, far far more people have been murdered by Christians than by any other group.

  4. Do you not love these guys?

So Hitler did not think he was aiding the natural selection process?

    • To answer the second question first, Dan already showed that Hitler used christian arguments to justify his stance on antisemitism. If for some reason he was sufficiently misinformed to think he was “aiding natural selection” through attempted genocide, then that cannot be blamed on Darwin anymore than Aristotle or Linneaus.

As for your first question, if you are implying that we love genocidal maniacs because we can understand evolution, then you have crossed the line.

    • Hitler said very clearly why he chose to “select” against Jews – He was Christian, and on a holy mission to rid the race of the Jew, because that is what a good Christian does (in Hitler’s mind).

  5. Dan Hitler was not a christian, maybe he a gnostic but not a follwer of Jesus. Hitler was into athe Teutonic gods like Thor and Odin.

    • Yes, I overdid it on the “Hitler was a Christian” reaction. Still, his Christian rhetoric worked, didn’t it.

Glad to see you’ve given up on the “Hitler was an atheist” idiocy, too.
