Exposing Evolution As A Mess and Atheism As Hot-Air!

Sir Francis Bacon And The Rosicrucians

with 12 comments

This is a follow up to thread on the influence of Sir Francis Bacon on Charles Darwin, I have a clip from the documentary the New Atlantis: Secrets Of America’s Beginnings.

The film explores:

-What Really is Rosicrucianism?

– Sir John Dee and Lord Bacon Leadership

– Knights Of the Helmet and Sir Francis Bacon

– Sir Francis Rosicrucianism and Founding Of Modern Freemasonry.

– America The New Atlantis and Land of the Rosicrucians.

The question is this did Sir Francis Bacon believe in Evolution and had the theory of natural selection existed in the mysteries and did Darwin just popularise it, rather than found it?

    • Listen DW, we all know that you link famous historical figures associated with the development of science as a proxy for discussing their major works. This way, you don’t have to admit that people like Francis Bacon wrote some brilliant things (for his time) that helped found modern science.

    • Actually, I found a book that you might want to read:

Conspiracy Theories & Secret Societies For Dummies.

Seriously, you sound like someone who thinks movies like National Treasure, the X-Files and Angelina Jolie’s Tomb Raider movie on the Illuminati are non-fiction.

    • No, you were talking about the Rosicrucians, which by all appearances was a secret society of mystics with only sparse evidence that it ever actually existed (according to a quick Google search).

Secret societies? Sounds a lot like a conspiracy theory to me.

  4. The Rosicrucians hired Darwin to espouse their secret doctrine and popullarise it.

Dan Please, how do the brothers of the Rose and Cross Identify themselves?

  6. […] Let us meet Sir John Dee, who were have dealt before with on this blog with especially with his protege Sir Francis Bacon. […]

  7. I see that you are onto the Rosicrucians. Good. But are you onto the religion that people like George Lucas of Star Wars and Dan Brown of the Da Vinci Code share?
